My name is Yuzo Ishikawa and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Astronomy/Astrophysics at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
Before coming to JHU, I obtained my B.A. degrees in Physics and Astronomy at UC Berkeley in 2014. From 2014-2019, I worked at the UC Berkeley Space Science Laboratory as a Staff Research Associate. I obtained my M.Sc. in Physics at the San Francisco State University in 2019.
I am from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA. Outside of research, I enjoy traveling, Japanese tea ceremony, and kendo (剣道). Of course I love coffee ☕️!
